The 15 Year Old gets its distinctive rich and exotic character from a process of selective maturation in which a proportion of the spirit is matured in French oak casks. In fact, we at The Glenlivet were one of the first to use French oak for making whisky, a technique that has since been imitated the world over. The Limousin oak we use is cut in France’s Dordogne region, where it’s often used to mature cognacs. Its low density allows whisky to sink deep into the wood, and we carefully control how long the whisky matures in the casks so as not to overpower the desired result: a unique, pleasing spiciness.

Based on a 1761 recipe, at the heart of Bombay Dry Gin is its unique distillation process, vapour infusion. Unlike many other gins, which boil their botanicals directly in the spirit, the 8 exotic botanicals in Bombay Dry Gin are hand placed in a perforated copper basket.
The spirit vapour passes through the copper basket infusing the spirit with the aromatic flavours of the botanicals. This way Bombay Dry Gin acquires a subtle yet full flavour taste, which makes it such a rounded and distinctive gin.
Bombay Dry Gin’s 8 exotic botanicals include: Juniper Berries, Coriander Seeds, Liquorice Root, Almonds, Lemon Peel, Cassia Bark, Orris Root, Angelica Root.
Bombay Dry Gin is the classic and historical London Dry Gin taste, which is at the heart of all Bombay Gins.
An audacious combination. Martell Blue Swift is a spirit drink made of cognac VSOP then finished in Kentucky Bourbon casks.
Copper with golden highlights.
Gourmet notes of banana and caramelised pear introduce the subtle sweetness of vanilla, coconut and spices.
A sensation of fullness and generosity with notes of ginger and candied fruit, followed by distinctive hints of toasted oak from the Kentucky bourbon casks.
In 1783, Martell was the first Maison to ship cognac to the United States. Today, Martell celebrates this history with another first: Martell Blue Swift, the first-ever spirit drink made of cognac VSOP and then finished in bourbon casks.
Through Martell’s signature distillation process, the eaux-de-vie absorbs the rich aromatic tones of the bourbon cask. The result is Martell’s hallmark style – delicate notes of candied fruit and plum – complemented by the subtle sweetness of vanilla and toasted oak from the casks. Exceptionally smooth, with a rounded taste and unique character.

The Glenlivet 12 Year is a vibrant gold hue with a summery nose. Since its palate is well balanced with forward tropical fruit notes, it’s best enjoyed neat, on the rocks or with a little water added. At the finish, you’ll savor a smooth creaminess with hints of fresh hazelnuts and marzipan. Pair The Glenlivet with seafood dishes, such as seared scallops, to bring out the best characteristics in both. Even if you’ve never tasted a malt whisky before, The Glenlivet will make anyone a fan.
