The spirit vapour passes through the copper basket infusing the spirit with the aromatic flavours of the botanicals. This way Bombay Dry Gin acquires a subtle yet full flavour taste, which makes it such a rounded and distinctive gin.

Singleton of Dufftown 12 YO pours a deep gold with polished mahogany highlights. It has aromas of toasted nut along with rich fruit. Adding a dash of water to it brings out the classic Speyside fruit-sweet aromas. There is a sweetness and crunchy nut notes on the palate, then a smooth, fruity richness, balancing with hints of blackcurrant, brown sugar, and espresso coffee.
