Dimple Whisky has almost 300 years of history, over 30 malt and grain whiskies and a bottle design that does not go unnoticed. All that to be the classic blended scotch everyone recognizes immediately. The blend for this scotch is composed mainly by Glenkinchie, which gives Dimple Whisky 15 years a smoother, but also richer, taste. When tasting this blend, one should smell notes of spice and caramel, as well as taste balanced flavours that go from honey and toffee, from smoky to the oak flavour. It has a short finnish.
NOSE
Medium-body with warming notes of spice and caramel.
PALATE
Well-balanced with smooth notes of honey and toffee, a little smoke and malted barley with just a hint of oak.
FINISH
Short and there are notes of fudge and oak.

Singleton of Dufftown 12 YO pours a deep gold with polished mahogany highlights. It has aromas of toasted nut along with rich fruit. Adding a dash of water to it brings out the classic Speyside fruit-sweet aromas. There is a sweetness and crunchy nut notes on the palate, then a smooth, fruity richness, balancing with hints of blackcurrant, brown sugar, and espresso coffee. The finish is medium to long, elegantly drying and crisp with a delayed lingering warmth.
