The Claymore blended Scotch Whisky is aged between four to five years in strictly selected barrels. This maturation imparts its special character and created the beautiful mahogany color of this Scotch.
When poured into a glass a complex variety of scents escape. Exceptionally fruity and earthy tones can be perceived, accompanied by ash and malt. The wonderfully blended Claymore Whisky from Scotland is not overwhelming and is therefore ideal for beginners, however it is certainly also appreciated by connoisseurs and delights the taste buds.
The Claymore blended Scotch Whisky offers a diverse composition of malt, ash, Earth and a subliminal sound of smoke that settles like a coat to the various sounds. Sweet hints of milk chocolate and creamy caramel and slight bitterness of coffee beans make for the perfection of this Whisky.
Its departure presents beautiful, long-lasting and warm. The sweet taste of the smooth Claymore Whisky is followed by darker sounds of malt and dark chocolate.

VAT 69 is a Scotch blended whisky created by William Sanderson & Son Limited of South Queensferry, Scotland, now part of Diageo.
Despite its name, VAT 69 is not a vatted malt, but a blend of about 40 malt and grain whiskies. VAT 69 Reserve carries no standard age statement because of the combination of the malts and grains.
It is a famous old brand of blended whisky, chosen by Sir Ernest Shackleton to accompany him on his Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition of 1914 ‘for medicinal and celebratory purposes’, and also famously the favourite whisky of Captain Lewis Nixon of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, immortalised in the book and TV series Band of Brothers.

To give you a recipe for a refreshing summer drink, here’s the guide:
- Ingredients :
- 45 ml Skyy Infusions Citrus Vodka
- ½ sprig of rosemary
- 15 ml lemon juice
- 15 ml lemongrass syrup
- some soda water
Mix the rosemary with the lemon juice and syrup in a shaker. Add ice and the Skyy Infusions Vodka and mix again.
